What is one thing people can do right now to improve their diet and nutrition?
Z: Include more variety in their food choices – try new veggies (radicchio), fruit, protein choices and whole grains.

What is something that you think is important but most people tend to overlook? Z: Fibre intake – lots of folks don’t get enough fibre because they’re not eating enough plant foods.

What topics are you most passionate about in your work? Z: I like to explore the role diet has in optimizing health, whether it’s mental health, heart health or general health, to name a few. I get excited when I see folks thriving and energized as they improve their diet.

What is your favourite thing to do in the Bow Valley? Z: Mountain bike!
