Bow Valley PCN primary care nurses work alongside doctors, nurse practitioners and PCN Health Team to help patients manage their health by providing patient centered comprehensive and coordinated care, education, and support.

The nurses at the Bow Valley PCN work within local medical clinics. They work closely with patients on various health topics including:

• Chronic disease management
• Sexual health
• Promotion of healthy lifestyle behaviors and disease prevention

Some of our nurses also provide:

• Blood pressure testing, monitoring and education
• Pre/post natal care, including lactation consulting
• Diabetes management
