Sexual Health is an important element of health & wellness for most adults.
The Bow Valley PCN supports sexual health in the Bow Valley by:

Making healthy choices about sex is important at every stage of life. Talk about STIs and safe sex practices with every partner, check that you are up-to-date with vaccinations against Hepatitis and HPV, use condoms (vaginal, anal, oral) to protect yourself & your partner(s), and always use a second form of birth control to prevent pregnancy.

Request Safe Sex Kits
Organizations, businesses and clinics can request packages of safe sex kits including condoms, lube and resources by visiting bowvalleypcn.ca/safesexkits.


STI Testing in the Bow Valley

Before you have sex with a new partner(s), or at your annual check up with your primary healthcare provider, it’s important to get tested for STIs
