Birth and Beyond – 3 sessions – In Person

A 3-week program for expecting parents, covering labour and breastfeeding information. You should be more than 25 weeks pregnant at the start of the first session. A partner/support person is welcome to attend.

• Class 1 will focus on the labour process.
• Class 2 is Medical and Non-Medical ways of managing discomfort in labour, including interventions such as c-sections. We will also cover breastfeeding.
• Class 3 What to expect with postpartum selfcare, how partners can help, infant sleep, postpartum depression and community resources.  This class will be cofacilitated with the Family Connection Centre.

Class dates: May 14, 21 & 28 Class sessions 1 will be held in Room 200, Canmore Recreation Centre, Class 2 will be held in the Screening room at Origin, 808 Spring Creek Drive, Canmore. The 3rd session will be held at the Family Connection Centre.
